Our tenants at Holbrook Moran are very important to us and we try to make the letting process as stress free as possible for all involved.
To arrange a viewing phone, email or come in to one of our branches and one of our staff will be happy to show you a property. If you like the property and wish to rent it simply fill in an application form and pay our Tenants Application Fee. This is £260 including VAT for up to the first two tenants and £100 extra per tenant after that. We have a minimum age of 18 years old. We then carry out referencing and prepare an Assured Shorthold Tenancy agreement which complies with all the current regulations.
On the day arranged to move in we collect a deposit, usually equal to months rent but can be higher and one months rent in cleared funds or you can pay via this web site with your debit card. The deposit is then lodged in a regulated scheme, usually the DPS but some Landlords use a different scheme.
Most tenancies are for initially for six months, and at the end of each 6 months we will get in touch to renew your contract and there is a fee of £50 including VAT.
During the tenancy if we manage your property we will be on hand to deal with any maintenance issues that may arise and arrange annual service and safety tests on any of the Landlords gas appliances as well as collect your rent.
